Touchdown on Dinner

Tonight, we wanted something for dinner without having to go shopping!! So, I got onto Pinterest and looked and pinned a few things, and started to think of what I could put together to make a full meal with ingredients I had!! This is what I came up with! It's a chicken potato veggie chowder....

OMG! Best meal I have ever made, and I seriously did a little bit of this and a little bit of that!!

Not to mention some frozen chicken and a few spices!!!

3 large frozen chicken breasts (diced and          cooked)
1 cup of chicken broth
1/2 red onion
5 red potatoes cut up small
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup water
1 bag mixed frozen veggies
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbl red pepper flakes
1 tbl salt
2 tbl pepper
1 tbl Italian seasoning
2 tbl garlic powder

In a pan, with olive oil cook the chicken until done, add red onions and sautée until onions start to turn transparent. Add chicken broth, potatoes, onion mix, water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Add the rest of ingredients and cook until potatoes are soft. Serve in a bread bowl or with rolls.

I wish I would have added real bacon bits. Next time I will add them!

Leave a comment if you make this, let me know what you think. I would like some feed back other then my family! :)
